  The big, long anticipated,.. infamous (in the mabrc minds only) Ed Smith interview, on the mabrc's radio program. I don't know what was anticipated about it, I listened for the first 1 hour and 25 minutes of the 2 hour long program, and couldn't take it anymore, so tuned out 
    In essence, he (Ed Smith) was suppose to have the (original 6), that's his other partners on the program, with him, or so it was Advertized. Well they wasn't on the program, could be they was to embarrassed to be on the program? For all the hype of Ed Smith, he was a rather uninteresting and boring person to listen to....Oh, Randy, keep saying (sweet) all the time, and Darkwing, was (Ohhhh wow) all the time, but I fell to comprehend, why the guy was so interesting. He was a complete clutch. ...An Idiot... He said he was a graduate from college, but I question that, he had a hard time pronouncing most of the words he was trying to say. He spoke like he was uninformed about the very subject he was talking about.... He's trying to sale some of the documentaries that they are making, (he admitted to that part), but couldn't explain what the heck he made??
   As usual, he (Ed Smith) keep talking circles around the subject of Bigfoot, He never came forward with any evidence other than what he said was to be true, and all of his field research I found to be laughingly hilarious. For example, he talked about the super electronic of some sound system laser lights etc, etc,  that they have set up on there hunting site, and that by triangle lating the difference sound systems, and laser lights,on his hunting site, he can get within 1/2 an acre of where the Bigfoot was. Well then they go to the area, and search for hair, blood, impressions in the grass, foottracks, etc, etc,. He went on to say that he could tell the difference between a hominid walking and deer from far away, that they observed the hunting area..... ::)I got news flash for him....a turkey sounds like a man or monkey walking through the brush, two....they got 2 legs, so he is busted on that bull.....He was full of it, the whole program, but like I said, I only listened to the first boring hour and 25 minutes of it, I couldn't take it anymore, my sides were hurting from laughing so much.
    I dont know which was the worst or funniest, (Ed Smith report), or Darren's lying about how big and many members they had that night listening in.  My response is (Hey dude, or you listening, I was on the site, and there was 8 people on there, so go peddle you lies, somewhere else)....Oh, thats right you was telling them on your site, so you are excused then.
    So in essence, for a good laugh, go listen to the program, but if you don't want to waste  2 hours of your life, just avoid it.  Matter of fact, I wished I had avoided it.

Hey this new (Erickson project), thats coming out in a couple of months, will set Ed Smith back for years and years....recon ol Ed should have come forward with some evidence when people were asking for it.....Oh, well, he hangs out with that other bunch, you know, mabrc weird ones....

There is a thread regarding Ed Smith over on another site which has precipitated some comments that require addressing:

First, (as one regular on that site has already alluded to) the author of the OP comes on singing/shilling the praises of Ed Smith yet has not substantiated exactly what is so great about this individual.

Second, this appears to be the classic Hollywood style teaser scenario where major revelations/discoveries are promised but then the old NDA dragon rears it's head and NOPE ya can't see anything until....later.  _{(add scary music played in a minor key)}   This constant pimping throughout the entire Ed Smith saga smacks rather loudly of a scenario where the circus barker(s) are selling tickets to see the bearded lady inside the tent.  More often than not, those exiting the tent...wish they had their money back.

Makes you wonder is this "Ed Smith" person is somehow even more enigmatic than Sasquatch?

Third, there are some outright slanderous statements being issued against BM & I by the Shills in Chief of "Ed Smith Carnivals, Inc." with apparently no sense of equilibrium being employed by the powers that be on that particular website.  Their allegations have been presented w/o any form of evidence to substantiate such and only serve to make that site another pit where the mud freely flies with the predictable result that it only succeeds in attracting...flies.

What this serves to illustrate is the low-flying caliber of many operators in the so-called BF Community and why we are striving to make this site a place where that type of behavior will not be tolerated.

The latest claim (as posted) by this person(s)/entity(ies) is to have conducted DNA analysis on ~2350 samples.

With a base cost of $300 per sample that's $705,00.00 total cost.*

With a base cost of $900 per sample that's  $2,115,000.00 total cost.**

I'm calling BS on this entire claim as IMO, it's a flailing attempt to try and get ahead of the others (Olympia Project, Erickson Project, etc.) that appear to be approaching the hour of producing something with substance and of which this so-called Ed Smith has been totally devoid of since day one.

Again, how many of the MABRC membership have met this "person" FTF and could vouch for his very existence as such?

Still nothing form these guy`s....release of documentars about bigfoot...foot found in out of the way places, etc, etc, etc,....what I`m getting at folks is, they bang the drum loudly, Remember they were going to have all the release CD`s from Ed Smith in late July and Aug, but there ain`t nothing as of yet. Think maybe they were hoaxing ? they have no substance, and there ain`t been nothing else said yet,The Bigfoot world is always looking for the perfect picture or body of a bigfoot, and there is always someone trying to give them more cool-aid.  The people that we are talking about will bang the drum loudly, to get attention there way.

Welllll, were still waiting for the results of Ed Smith and his evidence of  his study and results of bigfoot hunting.

Its been a year now since he was going to release his (earth shattering results), so far we have heard nothing,-- nada,-- 0, So this should give the mabrc a big fat blackeye. It seems they were hoaxing, pure and simply.

case closed, found guilty as charged. Course we already knew what the outcome would be.

Mainly because the mabrc and ed. smith, have no facts to bring forward..

Finally Darkwing comes on to answer the best he could. He says...Hopefully Ed will comment ..LOL...Ed aint going to say nuthing.

Looks like maybe the mabrc should give ol Ed the kick in the pants, to get out, there not making any headway with what this Ed has said in the past or present..

Looking at it in a reciprocal fashion, perhaps Mr. Shippen is growing weary of Harrington & Lee and/or they have served their purposes for him as Shippen impresses me as a bigtime "user" of people.
