Mystery continues to surround many events in Russia and nieghboring countries, formerly of the Soviet Union, due to Soviet censorship. People of former Soviet Union still talk in avoidant tones, even socially, and its virtually impossible to get candid opinions and accounts from those who have since relocated to the US. Such is the remnant of conditioning and fears of those who lived in Soviet Union. Likely we will never know.
