Here's my story of the basket ball player that I saw, and was talking about in the above post.
This incedence happened Nov, 25, 2002 time was 15:45 hours, location was on private property in the rugged hills of northeastern Oklahoma.
I was deer hunting, out of a tower stand, on my personal preperty at 14:30 hours. It was the 3rd day of deer season here in Oklahoma, and the weather was 35degrees. I didn`t hunt the morning hunt cause it was extremely cold at 20 degrees and I knew I would freeze out early. We had heavy hunting pressure on the deer, the day before and I really didn~t think I would see any deer, but I went anyhow. I got in my stand at 14:30 hours and the wind was blowing out of the north about 30 M.P.H. It was cold but I was in an enclosed stand, about 14feet off the ground. The enclosed stand cut down on the bite of the cold north wind. It was a cloudy and windy and nothing was moving at all. No squirrels, deer, birds, nothing at all.
After about an hour, the wind layed down, and the sun came out, and it got nice and comfy in the stand. At 15:30 hours, I was looking North at a fence line through a small opening in the trees and for about 1 second I saw what appeared a bigfoot walking towards the east at a regular walk. Not fast, Not slow, just a determined walk, like he had business to take care of. Now my original thought was that my eyes were playing tricks on me. Like if you concentrating to hard to see deer, you will make out deer in the woods, and its ony a tree limb etc. So I passed it off as that but still it was in the back of my mind. that is was something else, altogether, it came close and closer, till at the closeest point he was going to be about 60 yards from me, and into an opening between some trees, that was about a 10 yard opening. When he arrived at this opening, I had my rifle scope on him, and got to see him all of a total of 2 seconds, that all the time it took him, to walk through the 10 yard opening. He was 6ft 7inches, approx, that is. Dark as night, solid balck. sort of a raven black. that is a color that`s so black that it has a ting of blue look to it. Really a beautiful color. His arms were down to his side swing back and forth as he walked. The are`s were very skinny, has was he. I would guess him to be about 165-175 lbs. He reminded me of a basketball player, you know the type, all arms and legs, small chest. His head looked just like me and you. He didnt have much of a neck.
Anyhow he keeped going to the east, for about another 50 yards, then I lost sight of him, because of the thick trees. Now I would like to say, that the weather had been very dry, so anything walking on those leaves fallen from the trees, would sounded like post ceral, with a lot of crunching. He didn`t make any sound from where I was at. No sound, glided over the ground as quiet as a ghost.
It was starting to get dark, had about another 45 minutes or so, then it would be to dark. There started some tree knocking from the area, that the skinny bigfoot went. The knocking sounded like whack whack whack-----whackwhackwhackwhack. He did that in 3 sets. then nothing, I knew from the sound`s that he was at max, only about 100 yards form me. I more or less, tried to not pay him any attention, because I was more interested in the big buck that might come out. (although I knew that I wasn`t going to see any deer because of the bigfoot).
Will it was getting dark now and the corn feeder went off and I had about 30 legal minutes of hunting left. When the corn feeder goes off,k the predators, usually move in looking for deer so I though I would take me some coyotes, out at least. It was dark now and I could only see about 30 yards, and was just getting ready to come out of the stand when It happened. A loud holler to my left that left me paralyzed. It was a holler that was only about 20 yards to the west of me in the thick woods. It was AAArrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh,-------AAArrrrgh. The volumn was so hurendous, that it felt like its breath on in my face. I swung my night vision over and saw a very mature (Male :?: ), I`m only quessing about the sex, couldn`t see anything below the chest, . He had very rounded shoulder`s, and a big head resting on his shoulders. The sitting sun was at his back, right in my eyes. I couldn`t make out anything but a black sillouette.
I quickly came out of the stand to let him have the woods to his self. All the way back to the house, (which was 150 yards away), I keeped waiting for him to grab me by the shoulder. As far as I know, he didnt follow me out of the woods.
Once I got out of the woods, the wife, met me at the porch, and asked if I was O.K. cause she heard the roar also, from her being inside the house. I told her the whole story, then I sit down outside, and gave a bunch of calls for the animals, to see if I would get a reaction. Negative, never heard anything at all. Sit out there in the dark on and off, for hours, more, to hear if anymore tree knockings were made or hollers. Again negative, nothing.
I would like to add, that I carry with me a weapon of immense destructive power, it is a 444 Marling Lever Action Rifle, and I know how to use my weapon. That weapon will bring down any animal on the North American Continent. But after seeing the big male, I didnt think I had a big enough gun  .
Now another observation, if I had shot the first skinny one, that looked like a basketball player, (so I could bring some D.N.A. out with me), I would probably be in for a big trouble, when Big brutus, showed up. Which brings, me to think, that they never hunt alone.
Just my opinion.
