Hey all, tomorrow night (Tuesday Morning), there will be a Lunar Eclipse starting at 1:45 A.M. and lasting till 3:45 A.M. the way I understand it. Anyhow there maybe some very interesting sounds in the woods, if I can stay up that late. LOL Bigfoot may go wild, with the moon that night, so it would be a good time to be in the woods, with a recorder.

I read this when BM first put it up--first posted it.

There has been a lot of discussion about the effects of the moon on people--and animals.  Every one knows that the word "lunacy" comes from "lunar," a term which refers to the moon.  Thought I would share this:

My wife worked for several years reading and answering mail for a well-known tele-evangelist.  The association had accumulated a hefty list of what they called "no answer mail."  Generally it contained the names of people who seemed to have some kind of problem.  There were people who would write several letters every day.  There were women who would write love letters to the tele-evangelist.  There were people who....  Well, you get the idea.

There was  a constant stream of this "no answer mail," but with every change of the moon, the volume would up-tick--just as regular as clock work.  As far as I know, there were no Bigfeet on their "no answer list," but I would not be surprized to learn that eclipses, full moons, and such would, if Bigfeet are out there, stimulate some responsive behaviors.

I would be curious to know if anyone has observed unusual behavior among animals corresponding to changes in the moon?

Preacher

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just,
and will forgive our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.
