Brrrrrr. Well folks here in Okla, we set a record snow fall for the month of Feb for one day, and tomorrow, were suppose to set new records lows for the state....I member back in Jan for a few years in a row, Bigfoot would come and beat on the side of the house, like he wanted in to get warm. Well, tonight its cold and I got the old fireplace roaring, and if he comes by tonight, he`s going to leave some nice tracks in that heavy snow. And no, I ain`t gonna let him in. But I well try to get a picture, but I ain`t going outside in the 2ft deep snow to chase him around the house, to get that picture. Reason being, he probably is hungry, Do I need to draw a picture?.... Cheesy

Hope you-all have a nice warm place, and don`t get the snow were getting.

Update on above post....tonight is suppose to be the coldest on record for Okla for this time of year, or anytime period. We are snowbound in with 2ft of snow everywhere, and 5ft drifts in some locations..We have plenty of food, for we saw this coming by way of the weather reports.
We had no bigfoot visits last night, like I thought we might have, due to the deep snow, maybe he decided to stay home?....Makes you wonder how these creatures survive the harsh winter that`s going on now around the country. I suppose they survive as well as any other animals, like deer, racoons, etc. Just haven`t figured how they do it, as of yet.
Maybe tonight he (bigfoot) will make a visit. I`m putting out leftovers from dinner out for him, or anyother wild critters that might come by in the middle of the night.
Well got to go, it`s time to throw another log on the fireplace.

Set record cold last night. Here at my place, 7 below. Don`t know what the wind chill was. Bigfoot did not come by last night. Which blew my theory, that he came by on very cold nights, because of the heat from the fireplace and the smell of the wood smoke from the chimney. My thought was, if he smelled the smoke from the fireplace, then he would think, the woods was on fire, and he would come to warm up. There are still many nights left for the chance of him to come by.

Update:
We set another record for snowfall and cold here in Okla. Another 21 inches of snow, and 21 below. You would have thought we were living in the Artic . We been snowed in and havent been able to leave the house since Feb 1st...I love it, the wife on the other hand is going nuts. LOL.
Still Bigfoot has not showed up at the house like he has done in the past to warm up, on the outside of the house where the fireplace is. Don't know if he has come around close by are if he moved out of the area. Snow 4ft in most areas up on the hill where I live, so can't walk in it to go look for tracks. Course with 4ft of snow, you wouldn't see tracks anyhow, just where something had been walking, but with the snow so deep, you couldn't tell what left the tracks.
We have set a record cold and snow fall for Okla, for 2011, and the winter ain't over yet.

Feb 14,2011, we finally have been able to get out of the driveway, to go to the store and stock up on a much needed food. So since Feb 1st, we have been snowed bound. Love the weather, wife does not. We had enough food on hand to last another month, with the exception of bread, but hey, bread ain't good for us anyhow. This record winter, has tested the soul and the survival of alot of people.
Through it all, we did not get a visit from Bigfoot, like in the past. Maybe he was staying in a nice warm place. Today I will venture out and look for tracks. Have already, looked around the house and yard, and none to be found except for rabbits and a fox.
