Is there anyway to block them out...seems like there must be a security problem?

For whatever reason I'm only just now seeing this. Sorry bout that.

There really is no way to stop such folks from registering on a site (any site) and no way to prevent them from making a post or posts quickly afterward. I really wish there were but there just isn't.

I do keep a pretty close watch these days and check in here once a day most days at least and some times more often. As soon as I see these types I delete their registrations and any posts they've made. The Moderators here also can delete their posts but can't delete accounts.

There was a bit of a problem with this especially back when it was still on the GBO Free Forums but now since we've moved the forums to this domain I've not noticed much of that kinda trash happening here.

The only thing we can do really is to remain vigilant and remove it and their accounts as soon as we see it. How the spammers find such sites I really don't know but they do and are a problem for all site owners on the internet.

Bill,

I have been checking the site ~2X daily for this as it was rampant a few months ago but has slacked off lately.  A lot of it seems to be coming from overseas given the spelling and grammar useage of those cats.
