I've just been invited to participate in a hunting lease in LeFlore county.  The Kiamichi river flows through it and with only six of us on the lease, 3,000 acres is a lot of room to roam.  Funny thing so far is although it goes almost to the crest of the mountain on it's south side, no one seems to want to hunt "up top". Hmmm.

I also understand there are several caves on it's north face that will be amoung the first items to be checked out.

With the A-Z ranch access I already have on the southern slope of the same mountain, this makes for a little over 7,500 acres to check out.

Could take a while.

Stay tuned.

That may prove a better place to watch for bigfoot than my 25-acre personal research area in Tulsa County (Oklahoma)--don't you think?

I dunno, but it's surely more up and down terrain than I used to however, those caves have really got my interest.  Maybe, we'll actually find Jimmy Hoffa?  Nah, they already have...when they took all that makeup off of Tammy Faye Baker!   Wink

This PM, spoke with one of the other guys on the new hunting lease.  Asked him about the caves and he said he hunted near one year before last but right after sunrise left the area, said he wasn't comfortable being there.  Had more details but I want to check it out first to see if some of the things/features he mentioned pan out as described...
