We are 10 days, into the 2011 deer gun season, here in Okla. Thus far, there has been 7 deer harvested by the hunters. Two of my hunters did hear woods knocks, as well as I have. No reported sightings of the big creature as of yet, there is still 6 more days of the hunt left. There is alot of hunters in the woods, this year, so, bigfoot is probably, staying put, where its warm and safe. He would have plenty to eat, with all the deer guts, that is left on the ground, once the hunters harvest and fielddress out there deer.
The wood knocks that I have heard, have been way off in the distance, probably mile or two. Some of the wood knocks, that I have heard, doesn`t sound natural. I believe that there are some bigfoot hunters that are in the woods, trying to do the tree knock, with those bambo sticks. If you never heard them before, well they don`t sound natural, as would regular tree knocks from the hard woods trees at hand, that bigfoot would use. If my theory is correct, then there are some mighty stupid people that might get shot. It`s unsafe for people to be wandering in any woods, during deer season, unless you are a deer hunter and know what your doing. And I might add, if your a person, that happenes to be in the woods during deer season, and your not deer hunting, but doing other things, like wildlife photo, etc, then you should be wearing hunters orange vest and hat, so you don`t get shot...Course it all boils down to common sense..

 Cool

12/2/11, one of the deer hunters came to sign out from a day of deer hunting, and had an interesting story to tell, me...Seems about 16:00 hours, behind the deer towerstand, that he was sitting in,  and to the North about 40 yards, Appeared a medium size black Mt.Lion, He couldn`t tale if it was male or female, but thought it was midgrown. Needless to say he didnt see any deer. The little lion left and then the sun, quickly went down in the west and darkness fell quickly. At this point the hunter as walking out of the area in the dark, keep thinking of the little lion and other lion`s, that I have seen and told him about in the past. He said he wasn`t worried about Bigfoot, cause it ain`t bothered no-body yet, and there are no reports of a Bigfoot killing a human, however the Mt, Lions are different, and that`s what bothered him. He just knew that the little creature was following him, (he admitted it was his imagination), but still it makes you wonder if they do, follow you. He said every couple of feet he would look over his shoulder to check his back, (Mt.Lions always attack from the rear, never face to face). He reached the saftey of his truck, and drove up here to check out and tell me the story....so the evening hunt ended with no deer seen, but one little black Mt.Lion was.....Maybe I`ll drive down tomorrow and leave the little critter some chicken bones to chew on...  Cool

Side Note:..tomorrow, Sunday the 12/04th, is the end of deer gun season for bucks, here in Okla. Looks like the forcast is going to be nasty and rain. Doubt if any hunters will show up in such nasty weather, but bet it don`t stop the little Mt. Lion, nor Bigfoot from looking for food.

12/4/11.....Last day of deer gun (for bucks only). here in Okla....As I predicted yesterday, nobody showed up. The weather was nasty and cold. So far 7 deer harvested....many seen but the hunters let them go to grow up....wonder if Bigfoot lets them go,....?... to grow up that is??, Me don`t think so. Wink

Deer gun season for Okla, ended yesterday, 12/25/11. One interesting thing happened yesterday, when #59 and I were checking on a feeder about 30 minutes, before sundown, there was a loud noise that came from the east, on the edge of the cliff that we were on. It was a very strange sound, like one of those sounds, that is very scary, and strange, so you draw your gun out to point in the direction of the sound. More for protection, just in case. It made the same sound about 30 seconds later and was heading north. The sound is hard to describe, since both of us were unfamilar with the sound. Best I could descibe it is the cross between a rip saw being run , mule, dog, and heaven knows what else. We dont know what it was, was it Bigfoot?, we`ll never know without seeing it, but it did get our attention.

Bow season starts today, so, maybe something will happen. Plus I will start to predator hunt using my game caller, to call in all predators, Should get interesting.. Cool
