Udate on the Kerosene heater that I bought the other day....ran it all night. Outside temperature is 26, inside my cabin is 73. Having my morning coffee, with the little stove still running. The instructions say, that running time on a tank (1.2 gal) of kersone is 16 hours....Its nice and toasty in the living room of the cabin, cooler in the bedroom , so I turned on the central heat. Tomorrow I`ll haul in some wood for the fireplace. The fireplace will run you out it gets so warm...AAhhh, but nothing beats a nice warm wood fire. The aroma of the wood burning in the morning, and a nice cup of hot coffee, with a big slice of home made apple pie to go with it. It don`t get no better than that. Except maybe Ol Bigfoot knocking on the front door of the cabin, wanting a piece of apple pie and cup of hot coffee, as I reach over for the camera, to take his picture....

.....course these X-perts of bigfoot hunters on other sites, would say it is a hunter in the woods, that has lost his way....

Bottom line: if you need a good kerosene heater this is the one to buy. Don`t expect it to warm more than a small room, maybe 400 sq ft.... Its great for an emergency,... But of Course, nothing beats a wood fire.
