Women see Bigfoot

 This is a true account from a reliable witness that I encountered this summer, and I will call her penny.

This summer, two women stopped by the house, and wanted to buy a horse corral fence that I had. They first noticed my sign on the front porch, that say`s (Bigfoot country_). They laughed at the sign and then upon coming into the house, they  noticed hanging above my fireplace, a wooden replica of a Bigfoot`s foot. They again laughed and tried to be amused of the objects. I looked at them and said in a very serious tone, (he does exist, I have seen him and have a couple of pictures of him_) . They changed there countenance, and ask very seriously, what did he look like . I told them and then to my surprise , they told me that they did believe in Bigfoot. They were talking lightly about Bigfoot at first, cause they thought I would laugh at them, but when they noticed that I was serious, they didn't hesitate to tell me there stories....
Both these Ladies, Penny, and Sharon, are sisters, and both live on the family ranch approximately 12 miles northeast of me.. near a little town named Childers. The family farm , is where they were raised, and there parents still live there. It seems that Penney was riding her horse across a pasture one late evening, when the horse stopped suddenly in its track, and looked towards the wood line just across the meadow that they were crossing. Penney looked at the direction that her horse was staring at, and there it was, a large black in color, hairy,  . She said it was just standing there on the edge of the meadow, staring at her.  Well needless to say, this scared the life out of her and she turned her horse and headed back to the house, as fast as the horse would go. She said it spooked her so bad, that she wouldnt ride her horse down in that area for years to come.
    Her sister Sharon joined in with her own sighting, and it was less dramatic, but scary anyhow. Seem`s Sharon was in her truck, driving back home on the one lane country road at dusk, when this same or different, creature ran across the dirt road in front of her. She said it was so close, she had to serve her truck to keep from hitting it. She was also scared to death by the creature, and speed away, without looking back.

      Both of the women, are divorced, and live by there selfs with there children in separate houses, with there folks living in an old farm house hundreds of acres across the meadows from them....She told me that there parents, have had sightings there, but refuse to talk about it, just that the girls, should not be in that part of the ranch, when it starts getting late.

I will keep in contact with them and see if they think of anything else, or getting anymore information from there parents.

I have no reason to not believe these ladies, I think they told me the truth, and I`m certain there are more people out there, that have had encounters, in this area.

 Upon a conversation with one of the women (Sharon) I gathered little more detail. For instance, they have heard the sounds such as tree knocking, hollering, etc. but didn`t know what it all meant, until I explained it to them. During our conversation, Sharon told me about there uncle, that lives near Little town called (Centralia). Here`s a link to the ghost town.:

Now Centralia, is about 16 miles north of where I live, and 13 from Childer`s.  The uncle and his wife were sitting out on the porch of there old farm house in the late summer evening, to get little breeze from the summer heat. They were surrounded by there 3 full blood, chow dogs. In case you people ain`t familiar with chow dogs, well, they ain` afraid of nothing. Anyhow as they were enjoying the breeze from the south, they both smelled a foul odor coming from the west side of the house. The chow dogs, immediately ran to the fence barking and growling, and then turned tail and ran back beside them. That was something they have never witnessed there dogs do before. So they decided to get up and see what they were barking at, and what it had to do with the strong smell. Upon turning the corner of the house, they both witnessed a tall hairy bigfoot about 40 yards from the house, going across there pasture. The both said the creature payed them no attention at all, The farmers wife, said the sun was setting in the west, so she couldn`t make out all the detail, but that it was black, hairy, and she could see daylight between the creature`s leg`s as it walked south away from them.
   The chow dogs, never gave chase.
