No I had not seen or heard of that before. I must admit my first inclination is to say FAKE FRAUD but who knows it makes me wonder if Jack Link's Jerky is a sponsor. My reasoning is that the camera only begins with the image almost out of frame to the left and moving in that direction. Why would such a camera fail to begin recording when the image was more in the center rather than when it was almost gone? Yeah I suppose there "could" be reasons but it does make one wonder.

Also it does seem at least that in the first of those nine frames he claims he got of it the full or at least almost all of the subject is in view. Why didn't they do a video capture image of that first frame or even each frame in turn as a still to let us have a better look?

Now I dunno about them or their reasons for doing this but if I or most had that film I'm thinking that a video capature frame by frame as stills would help greatly in clarifying what it might be.

It is very interesting and if I could wrap my mind around the possibility it's not faked then it would be extremely interesting. I guess my single biggest reason for doubt is that the camera should have triggered long before the subject was that close to out of the frame completely if it was genuine but then I guess we can't know the precise path. Still it does appear from what little you can see that the subject is walking more or less a parallel path to the camera at that supposed 15' distance so should realistically have been in view of the camera for quite a long time.

I'd sure like to see each frame as a still image.

Sounds like a job for M.K. Davis' expertise.

I read on another forum, that they were capturing the video and going frame by frame over it. They said that not knowing if it was copyrighted they wouldn't be posting it.
Everyone has different preferences. I use my game cam for the grand kids' entertainment to see the animals that we don't normally see. I have mine set to take pictures as fast as it can. Thirty seconds apart. (You can do a lot of things in 30 seconds.)
I do know that some cams can be set to take a picture then video then back to picture. I would like to know if they caught anything on pictures.
I agree that this is a job for M.K.
