...should consider before contacting anyone to seek guidance or help include the following items;

If you want professional guidance seek out professionals in the field(s) of biology, anthropology, et. al..  These people likely won't be found on most any of the BF websites as they are usually in the world of academia and which (IMHO) the majority of BF websites are anathema by comparison.

Another consideration is make damn sure you have some tangible/credible/verifiable evidence to offer for review (up front) as many of these people are bombarded by kooks, wannabes and other incompetents that haven't a shred of evidence which would pass even a cursory muster.

Also, be prepared to be villified by many of the so-called BF "experts" as they do not countenance those that go outside their sphere.  That's why your initial "evidence" has to be solid and substantial on the front end.

Recently, some people have come forward and been subjected to some of the type of treatment as described above.
