It was a spur of the moment situation and special circumstances involved when Bob Coyne called this PM and asked me to be his and Mike Killen's guest on their weekly talk show.  They asked if I would recount (TTBOMAB) the facts, circumstances and events surrounding the "Louisiana Hunt" that took place in early 2002 at Monster Central.

Apparently, the live chat board really lit up with some rather virulent responses as several no-kill advocates weighed in early on in the show as I recounted that event especially some of the details of the shooting.  Hopefully, they will have a somewhat different perspective after hearing "the rest of the story".  To hear the archival version you can logon to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Bigfoot_Quest where it is located.

Ole Bub has apparently been the recipient of a litany of venomous attacks on various internet radio program live chat forums lately by (among others) an individual known as woodswatcher (WW) aka; Rob Kornegay.

As (IMHO) the two have never met FTF it has been alleged WW's attacks are being primarily incited by Ole Bub's affiliation with me.  I guess I bring out the best in people? 

WW's history with me in this field goes back to (and how I met (Dennis) DG/SD) when we drove down to Mike (Timberghost) Humphrey's place on a Sunday afternoon in February of 2002.

He was also the catalyst for arranging our part/invite on the "Louisiana Hunt" the following spring.

Basically, Rob is long on talk but often comes up way short on action.

I/we tended to overlook his tendencies in this area as we all have our warts and areas that need improvement.

However, a series of events from that spring until October of the same year brought things to a head.  The basic gist is that on three (3) occasions he (WW) "deserted his post" during field work when things got a little tense.  It appears that as long as he's in a crowd, things are OK but when he's placed out on point or even with one other person the flight mechanism becomes fully engaged for him.

Things snapped when over on the KBR site, WW proceeded to dogpile a young lady from Missouri for her viewpoints on Sasquatchery.  At that point, I basically took him out behind the internet woodshed and laid out (on the KBR site) the entire history of his (aforementioned) "exploits".  To his credit, Timberghost did call DG and receive verification of the accuracy of my comments before proceeding.

Needless to say, the direct hit his (WW) ego took was apparently rather crushing and he has never gotten over the trauma which is today manifested in personal attacks upon not only myself but anyone he deems close to me.  More's the pity.

Ole Bub's a big boy...WW vitriol toward me is especially ironic...since to my knowledge we have never met...tho I suspect we would agree to disagree.  He is parroting the slurs and prevarications of thugs and wannabes...IMHO

Some folks continue to beat their chest...repeatedly breaking radio silence...screaming 2 and 2 is five...all the while searching for a fox hole for three...fortunately most of us know better.

i have had a couple of phone calls that directed me to this thread..i didnt even know this sight existed until someone just called and told me how to find it.

i might be guilty of alot of things in my life..but i can rest easy knowing that any talk about me listening or calling in on a radio program is not one of them. i dont know anything about some chat/radio blog. sorry.

to be honest, i'm clueless about the situation and you might want to check your sources and facts.

i visit 2-3 websites and thats about it. frankly, i dont have time to troll or cyber stalk anyone.

You really should get out and away from all the inbred thinking that's endemic on 2-3 other websites.  Otherwise, it'll make you fat, bald and all your children will be born naked and toothless.

Then you may well wish to check with the ISP of said radio show(s) and find out "who" logged in under your alias.

We both know Dennis & Brian can corrorborate the facts and circumstances of the 10/03 incident as well as Dennis on the MC incident(s).

Maybe, the BBC will contact you (again) about this?

i'll say it one more time. i have no idea, who or what discussion system you are talking about.
 
i personally dont have time to check every questionable thing that goes on in the cyberworld. i very rarely post on any message board anymore due to business and family.
i certainly dont go around listening to or have any involvement on a radio blog or whatever you call it. it seems that someone is pulling one over on you.

i know of NO ONE, who would be deceitful enough to impersonate me on this. someone is jacking with you all..its not me or any of my friends. take that to the bank. i have never heard of anyone ever insinuating or impersonating me on the net and for the life of me i dont know why they would start now.

i've never registered or signed on to anytype of program you are writing about to my knowledge, i dont even know what the hell it is or where it can be found. i find the fact that they share " intimate" knowledge of many things interesting, since just about everything i have been involved in has been fairly public. a large portion of it from your writings on BF boards all over the net.

seriously, ya'll need to take a deep breath and think about things. because i dont have a dog in this hunt that you are bitching about.

i simply came over this morning, because a couple of people thought it was odd, that i was a piece of this puzzle in some way. because they didnt think it was something i was involved in.

i would appreciate ya'll locking or deleting the thread, since somehow its about errorneous information. its a pretty odd situation to say the least, cause i dont have the foggiest idea what the hell you two are talking about. i hope you find your mystery man/woman. if you find them, post the info. i have questions of my own for them.

I also have a phobia of false accusations, especially when they are malicious.  There are consequences for bad, fraudulent behavior... some folks may learn an expensive lesson.

If your KBR screen name is being used fraudulently to flame, defame and malign myself and other "No Kill" folks...which I suspect to be the case, perhaps we can work together to expose the hoaxer's true identity.

What group or puppet master benefits from creating acrimony, dissension and diversion among squatch activists?  I'm sure BTR, KBR and BFS have tracking software.

Rec'd an email reply from John Sweet (technical support) at Blogtalkradio.com today...if you want to get to the bottom of this situation email your ISP info to him at: johnsweet@blogtalkradio.com and then whomever the perpetrator is will be revealed.

It appears Woodswatcher has no interest in "clearing" his name.

Of course, this is the same person that couldn't give me a straight answer on the whereabouts of the blood & stomach content samples I'd recovered (and was in process of submitting to Dr. Fahrenback for analysis & study) during the infamous Louisiana Hunt but instead spouted a litany of lies and excuses to me while admitting to D.G. that he'd returned them to Jim Lansdale, totally against our (previously agreed to) express wishes as a group.

Would therefore a reasonable person then conclude there is a high likelihood the WW of the aforementioned chat room episode is actually the same WW that has issued the above posts denying such ?
