Bill, Powderman,
I should have checked the dates.
I have not been on this forum for quite a while, actually I did not know it was back up and running until yesterday or maybe the night before. I was looking at the "strange and unusual" forum where I saw GB mention this forum to another member.
I looked into several threads, and it was just the same as it used to be. Just a bunch of back and forth bs. I use to come here because I had some experiences that related to this forum. But because of the kindergarden antics on here I removed some of them.
And with the few most recent threads I looked up there it was again. JUST LIKE NOTHING CHANGED.
I posted in Hanobia thread, because this was the last thread I read, and the most recent activity.
I have never been to Hanobia, and in fact I know virtually nothing about it, or what is going on there.
I had hoped to learn something, or gain some insight by coming to this forum.

JOHN. A pissing contest takes at least 2 people, I'm the only one left, the rest left. Contest is OVER, don't want another one. Glad you dropped in. POWDERMAN.  Grin Grin

Ya ain't far from wrong there. Hopefully tho now that the pissing match is ended things will eventually pick up again. When it first started here we had decent activity. Who knows maybe eventually some will return.

Powderman, for some reason I had to rejoin the forum, I tried to login but was not able.
I am not the most computer saavy fella out there.
Now how does anybody get he, or she out of John. I have never met a female John. Have you?
If Bill wanted to go back and check the old files he certainly could, and he would find I certainly deleted posts in the past. (Not like he needs to, or the posts were worth his while,) Mostly due to non beleivers who just wanted to argue and pick fights with those of us who spend/spent considerable amounts of time in the woods, and have seen things.

You may have asked me to delete your profile and if so I likely did. If you used the same exact username before and it allowed you to register it again then for sure that old account would have to be gone. I've not looked and won't unless you request it but if so then I'd need to know what the exact user name was before.

When I saw the new registration I thought the name looked familiar but went ahead and approved the registration anyway. I have it set now to require me to active or delete all new registrations. I'm getting about 20 requests per day from spammers and any that look even slightly hinky are deleted.

Wow, just learned this site was back up, and I'm still logged in, heehee. Shoulda stayed as Bearmgc, but in haste, initially, I chose another handle. I hope there's some staying power to the site. I really enjoyed the stories, and the "not sures". I'd like to buy the site, but I just don't have enough Computer know how to justify it. Bigfoot, one more thing to add to the mysteries of the wilderness, something I'm all for.

Actually Barb it never was down. I did kinda abandon it awhile and didn't check in but it was here and operational all the time. It hasn't been getting a lot of posts lately but at least what few are made are not of the sort we had there for awhile which were really worse than not having posts.
