Rules of the Roost

IF...this place becomes a "good" site that would indeed be a rarity given the impression even a most casual observer attains while cruising the world of so-called bigfootery.

One of the reasons for maintaining this place is to try and buck the norm in that respect.

I'm still hauling off some of the trash from here but will have the place cleaned up in short order.

From this point and going forward there will be two basic tenets in play;

First, people can post things w/o fear of being thrown into the bear pit style kangaroo courts that are in session on so many other sites of a similar vein.

Second, you can say what you will but expect to be challenged so having a basis in fact will certainly be a plus. Contrarian positions to a given topic should be directed to the OP topic and not a particular personality.

Third, anyone that engages in chronic mean-spiritedness will get a warning quickly followed by a quiet exit if they cannot cease and desist thereafter.

Consider this place not as a democracy but rather, a benevolent dictatorship.

Finally, this site isn't in the arms race to become the biggest/bestest in the UHS arena. NO revenue/profit is being generated nor will be as a direct result of the operations of this website, for it's owner. To wit, the Google banners were removed as a condition of purchase and NO donations or other forms of panhandling are allowed.

With this being said, it is management's sincere wish that every participant has a pleasant experience.
