Guys, Last year I heard a report that a bigfoot was sighted on prince of wales island here in southeast alaska. POW is the second largest island in alaska. Only Kodiak island is larger. I deer & bear hunted over there in the late 1990s and there are a lot of rainforest and seculded areas on the island. Simular to the pacific northwest coastal areas. Should be a area that would support some bigfeet.

Regards,

Saw a TV episode on it the other night, might have been on Monster Quest but it seems it was instead some kinda hour long special on strange things seen in Alaska.

The guy wasn't real believeable to me but their "facial reading lie detecting specialist" said he was truthful. But then she said that about every single person on the show. Hmmm.

I know there are a few bigfoot believers in Ketchikan that were trying to organize a research group a few years ago.

Bill if you ever get a chance to read the book "The strangest story ever told" it would be worth your time. It's set in the Thomas Bay area of alaska, north of Petersburg, Alaska. Instead of bigfeet creatures it deals with the "little people" of Tclinkett legend. Some friends & I have researched the area and believe we have identified the site where this happened on topo maps. Then my circulation problems became worse so I was never able to get on the ground there to check it out. The closest I came was by water within about 7 miles of the site.

regards,
